12.   Note

Lost in the collective movement of dancing, man returns to a lost intimacy with a world from which his labour has separated him. Man is the animal who negates his nature, who represses his desire, who defers his pleasures; but in the ecstasy of the dance he returns, for a brief moment, to the animal he no longer is, and to an existence lived in the intoxication of the present.
